Welcome to 8 Bit Workbench, where I document the restoration, preservation, and everyday use of classic computers and game consoles.
Here you’ll find hardware restorations, programming projects, software explorations, modern enhancements, and the stories behind the machines that shaped personal computing. Every project is another opportunity to learn, experiment, and keep these classic systems alive.
I don’t see these machines as museum pieces. I believe they should be powered on, programmed, repaired, and enjoyed. My goal is to learn from them, share that journey, and help keep these incredible computers alive for future generations.
